The business model just doesn’t work. This is a huge problem and there’s nothing you can do about it. Best advice, stay away from MLM.

Also, most people know that MLM doesn’t work and this makes it hard for MLM to recruit new people.

Go to the Ripoff Report and search on specific MLM companies. You will be amazed at the information that you uncover.

It is such a scam, that Amway had to change their name to Quixtar. It costs a fortune for a company to change their name. Amway did this because everyone was calling it “Scamway.” Quixtar is now being referred to as “Quixscam.”

If you get involved in MLM you will lose everything. Your money, your friends and your family. I can’t say anything good about MLM. It is just a complete scam and waste of your time and money.

Only the people at the very top of the pyramid make any money in MLM. Most of the money is made by making the followers purchase motivational materials and attend motivational seminars. It is a complete scam.

MLM is like a cult. The leaders do not allow the followers to question anything.

Good luck.

The biggest problems MLM and Network Marketers face is finding people who are interested to partner with them. Then having the patience to build relationships and educate and inform those people until they can make a decision to join them in business or that the opportunity is not for them.

That the company does not really sell a product or service but sells a non-attainable dream.

I have dealt with hundreds of MLM people and they are all the same, different product same concept.

If their company actually had to produce what they are ’selling’ they couldn’t keep up with the demand.

Does it make sense to tell a person, who hasn’t even used the product, that they can make money getting other people involved in selling it for them?

The whole scheme is to be at the top and start the chain. You can start this as easy as they can.

Pick anything. Here’s how it works.

I’ll select cow shit.

I come into your home and tell you how my new rev product will make your grass grow twice as fast by just applying it. You sign up and we will ship you a new load every month for the low price of..

OK so that goes on for like 5 minutes.

BUT WAIT!

If you sign up several people to buy my cow shit I’ll give you ….

That goes on for 45 minutes.

Now your a distributor of cow shit and if you could get enough people signed up buying it you could get rich.

You get the drift. Invite a couple of these people over and you’ll see the same spiel run, different product, same result.

And surprise after a year, or less, the company isn’t in business anymore. Who would’a thought.

If you want to really talk to someone who takes this seriously contact the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. They will be happy to give you an earful of what they think about this and what they have done.

By far the biggest problem MLM and Network Marketers face is total ignorancy about the business model, generated by people who have ridiculous views on an industry they know nothing about….as displayed on the answers you have received so far. Some of the comments I read here are so wrong that they are almost laughable.
But only true business owners know this, therein is where the problem lies. People who are interested in owning a home based business would read these inaccuracies and believe them to be true and never take a shot at it.
Granted it’s not for everyone but not for any of the reasons people have given. Some people just aren’t willing to do what it takes or have no “vision”, those are the people who call it a scam. Which is ridiculous. I hardly think a multi-billion dollar industry would be scam-driven.
People who have no business background, a degree or the funding to open a business are often left behind because of uneducated remarks such as these. I have taken people who were in that position and showed them how to become a business owner that earns an income from home. I have taught them how to schedule their day, given them the necessary tools and trained them. They could have never earned residual income in the work-force.
The only plausible solution to this is to look for people who are sincere about generating an income from home, shooting down all of the myths about MLM and getting them on their way.

The biggest problems network marketers face is the HOW TO.

They know WHY but they just dont get the HOW.

I have it all down to a synergy between five main things.

1. My MLM Prospecting: I use SiteBuildIt to create my websites. There is nothing better.

2. For getting MLM referrals and building lasting relationships OFFLINE (and this is suitable for network marketers from all companies.) I use SendOutCards (Take a free trial and you will see what I mean)

3. My MLM Autoresponders: Follow Up is handled by AWeber. And the campaign sharing facility allows my sequence of follow up messages to be copied from my account straight into my new downline’s account so that I can get him/her in full swing in quick time.

4. My MLM Training: All handled in the Renegade Network Marketer.

5. My communications are via Skype’s VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol)– A lot of people like the free Skype service. Personally, I prefer to use SkypePro - For around three dollars a month, I get free calls to other Skypers PLUS I get free long distance and very cheap international calling to all phones. Go to if you want to check that out.

There you have it, all sown up in a neat bundle, success simply seen in any MLM opportunity.

(Looks like I’ve just written your report too!)
